This weekend as per usual only a small fraction was completed of our farm to do list. I got to hop on Murphy Saturday which was heavenly. I love having him here at home and it makes it so relaxed to tack up and just have fun. Afterwards I got to condition all my leather tack which is just chefs kiss.
Next step for the horses is rescheduling their trim (my farrier got kicked last week bless her) and scheduling a dental especially for Skye and getting Murphys bean cleaned.
My kiddo is not feeling well this weekend so Rob and I took turns watching him while trying to work on all our projects for the barn/house and housework/meal prep. Rob got this super nice shelf built and organized our barn tools! It feels SO nice having my ointments and first aid kits organized and easy to get to! This also opened up space and the other shelves for Shelby our boarder/friend. The blank before picture on the right does not do the space justice ,we had a folding table that I had piled HIGH with clutter /random stuff from running around.
There’s a million other things on the farm to do list but this time last year we didn’t even have fencing up on our big pasture so I am happy with where we are. Next year it’s going to be even better!!
Happy trails,
-A
